Fortech Refurbished warranty conditions

1. Warranty period and content

1.1 All used laptops and desktops sold by Fortech Refurbished are covered by a 24-month sales warranty , which begins on the date indicated on the invoice.

1.2 The warranty means that:
1.2.1 if a computer malfunctions that is not caused by the user's actions, we will repair the device free of charge;
1.2.2 if repair is not possible, we will replace the device with an equivalent or better one;
1.2.3 If a replacement device cannot be provided, we will refund the purchase price.

1.3 The warranty covers all main components of the computer (e.g. motherboard, processor, memory, SSD, graphics card, screen, keyboard, etc.).
1.4 Exception: Laptop batteries have a 3-month warranty.

2. Procedure in the event of a warranty claim

2.1 Contact us at info@fortech.ee and describe the error you encountered.
2.2 We will send you a shipping label at our expense so that you can conveniently return the device.
2.3 The device is checked and, if necessary, repaired or replaced.
2.4 The repaired or replaced device will also be returned at our expense.
2.5 Data retention: We recommend that you back up your data before sending the device. Fortech Refurbished is not responsible for the retention of data on the device during warranty repairs.

3. Warranty Exclusions

3.1 The warranty does not apply to batteries, chargers and other wearing parts (except 1.4).
3.2 The warranty does not apply to physical or liquid damage caused by misuse.
3.3 The warranty does not apply to software problems (viruses, malware, unlicensed or customer-installed software).
3.4 The warranty does not apply to devices whose serial numbers have been removed or altered.
3.5 Data stored on the device is not covered by the warranty.

4. Validity

4.1 These warranty terms and conditions are valid from 01.10.2025.
