Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions about our refurbished business laptops and other devices.
Products and condition
What is an “updated” device?
A previously used business-class device that has undergone thorough testing, cleaning, and replacement of spare parts as necessary. The device operates within the manufacturer's specifications and is ready for immediate use.
How do you rate the condition of the equipment (grade A/B/C)?
Grade A (very good): minimal signs of wear, technically in good condition.
Grade B (good): moderate cosmetic marks (scratches/nicks), technically in good condition.
Grade C (satisfactory): More noticeable cosmetic defects, but functions correctly.
Has the battery condition been checked?
Yes. The battery health is tested; information is on the product page. If necessary, we offer battery replacement by arrangement.
Is the software legal and ready to use?
Yes. We install a clean and activated operating system (if allowed in the product description). Drivers/updates are performed before delivery.
Is there a charger included?
Yes, unless otherwise stated on the product page. The chargers are tested and have the appropriate power.
Keyboard and language?
The keyboard layout (EE/EN/Nordic etc.) is indicated on the product page. If necessary, we offer keycaps or installation.
Are the devices from a trusted source?
Yes. We use verified batches from corporate customers and partners. All data media is securely erased before sale.
Ordering and delivery
How to order?

How quickly will the goods arrive?
Usually 1-3 business days after payment is received. We deliver via parcel machine or courier; exact price and options are displayed at checkout.
Can I come pick it up myself?
Possible by appointment. Please arrange a time in advance by email or phone.
Payment
What payment methods do you offer?
Bank links/card, payment by invoice. We also offer installment payment through partners (visible at checkout, if available).
Can I get an invoice for a business (B2B)?
Yes. Enter your company details at checkout or request a personalized quote via email.
Warranty and maintenance
How long is the warranty?
The warranty period is 24 months. The warranty covers manufacturing and hardware defects under normal use.

How to file a warranty claim?
Describe the problem to info@fortech.ee (including order number, symptoms, pictures/error messages). We will provide instructions for shipping or handover.
How long will the repair take?
Depends on the fault and spare parts. We will provide an estimated timeframe after inspecting the device.
Does the warranty also apply to the battery?
The battery is a consumable part. The warranty coverage and duration are specified in the Warranty Terms/Product Sheet.
Return and exchange
Can I return the product?
Yes, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal (for distance selling). The product must be in the same condition and handled with care.

How to return?
Contact us by email for instructions. Return postage is free and the terms are listed in the Return and Shipping Policy.
Can I exchange the product for another?
Possible by agreement. Write about your request, we will find a solution.
B2B and larger orders
Do you offer deals for larger quantities?
Yes. We can help you assemble batches (uniform models/configurations), provide warranty solutions, and provide delivery schedules.
Do you offer a setup service?
Yes, by agreement: OS/BIOS settings, software profiles, backup, workstation preparation.
Data and security
Are you sure the previous user's data has been deleted?
Yes. We securely erase data media according to best practices; the device is delivered clean.
Is my data (order, payment) kept secure?
Yes. We process data in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Other
Do you buy or take back old devices (trade-in)?
Yes, optionally. Send us the model, condition, and desired quantity; we'll make you an offer.
